Decarbonization Strategy
Sustainability is at the core of our operations, both ashore and at sea. We are also committed to supporting the Principality of Monaco’s environmental vision, including the Monaco 2050 objectives, by integrating responsible practices across every aspect of our business. We carefully select proven technologies that enhance vessel performance, reduce fuel consumption, and lower greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring practical and measurable environmental benefits.

This strategy applies to all business operations under the organization's operational control and, where appropriate, considers emissions associated with the organization's value chain. The strategy covers:
- Direct emissions (Scope 1)
- Indirect emissions from purchased energy (Scope 2);
- Relevant indirect value chain emissions (Scope 3), where data is available and material.

The organization aims to:
- Continuously reduce greenhouse gas emissions across its operations.
- Improve energy efficiency and optimize resource consumption.
- Increase the use of renewable and low-carbon energy sources.
- Integrate climate considerations into business planning and investment decisions.
- Enhance climate resilience and support sustainable business practices.
- Monitor, report, and continually improve environmental performance.
04 Emissions Reduction Targets
The organization will establish measurable emissions reduction targets appropriate to its operations. These may include:
- A defined baseline year for emissions measurement.
- Short-, medium-, and long-term emissions reduction targets.
- Periodic review of targets to reflect operational changes, technological developments, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Consideration of science-based methodologies where appropriate.
